ZENE SAFETY POLICY

1. Be Respectful

  • No Harassment or Hate: Do not post or share content that threatens, intimidates, targets, or discriminates against others based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any protected characteristic.
  • No Bullying or Harassment: Harassing language, intimidation, or repeated unwanted messages are prohibited. Treat others as you'd wish to be treated.

2. Keep Content Appropriate

  • No Illegal Activity: Don't encourage or depict criminal behavior (e.g., drug manufacturing, violence, piracy).
  • No Graphic Violence or Self-Harm: Content that glorifies violence, self-harm, or suicide is disallowed.
  • No Explicit Sexual Content: Pornography, graphic sexual acts, or grooming behavior is not permitted.

3. Protect Personal Privacy

  • No Sharing of Private Information: Never post someone else's phone number, address, private email, or any sensitive personal data without explicit consent.
  • Respect Confidentiality: Do not solicit or share login credentials, financial details, or other personal identifiers.

4. Safeguard Minors

  • Under-Age Use Prohibited: Zene is not intended for users under 13. Any content depicting minors in sexual contexts is strictly forbidden.
  • Parental Controls: Parents or guardians should use available filters (e.g., block explicit content) to keep minors safe.

5. No Spam or Scams

  • No Misleading or Harmful Links: Do not post phishing links, malware, or fraudulent schemes.
  • No Unsolicited Promotions: Avoid mass-posting of ads, pyramid schemes, or “get rich quick” messages.

6. Reporting & Enforcement

  • Report Violations: If you encounter hate speech, self-harm content, explicit material, or any other policy breach, use the in-app “Report” button or email knocknock@zenemusic.co.
  • Swift Action: Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Violations may result in content removal, warnings, temporary restrictions, or account suspension.

7. Cooperation with Authorities

  • Legal Compliance: Zene may disclose user information to law enforcement if required by valid court orders or to prevent imminent harm.
  • Emergency Situations: In cases of credible threats of violence or self-harm, we may share limited data (e.g., IP address) with appropriate authorities to protect users.

By using Zene, you agree to follow these guidelines. Violating them may lead to warnings, loss of features, or permanent account suspension. Together, we can keep Zene a safe, welcoming place to discover and share music.
