Tap the share icon on the song and choose the platform you'd like to share it on.

Do you support lossless or high-fidelity audio?

Yes, high-fidelity streaming is available with a Hi-Fi subscription plan.

How do I upgrade to premium/luxe?

Go to Zene Luxe on home, and choose your preferred subscription plan and click Upgrade.

Can I transfer playlists from another music service?

Yes, we support third-party tools to import playlists from Spotify, Apple Music, and others. Click on your profile picture at the top of the home screen, then tap 'Import Playlists' and follow the instructions.

Is there a family plan available?

No, we don't offer family subscriptions for now. But we are think to bring in future

Can I listen on multiple devices at once?

Yes, you can listen to music on different devices using the same email address, or on the same device using different email addresses.

Does it work with Bluetooth and smart speakers?

Yes, our app supports Bluetooth, AirPlay, Chromecast, and most smart speakers.

How can I view lyrics while listening?

Yes, you can view lyrics directly in the Zene Music player screen while a song is playing.

How can I delete my account?

You can request account deletion by going to Settings > Privacy > Delete Account.

Do you have a sleep timer?

Yes, the sleep timer is available under the music player settings menu.

How can I see my listening history?

To view your listening history, go to 'My Library' and tap on the 'History' section to see all the songs and content you've recently played.

Which platforms does the Zene app support?

Zene is natively supported on macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Android, Windows, Linux, tablets, and the web.

How can I report a bug or give feedback?

You can report a bug by tapping your profile photo on the home screen, then selecting 'Feedback'. This will open your mail app with our address (knocknock@zenemusic.co) pre-filled. Describe your issue and feel free to attach screenshots or videos to help us understand it better.

Can I upload my own music?

At the moment, we do not support personal uploads. Stay tuned for updates.

What formats are supported for downloads?

All downloads are encrypted and playable only within the app.

Do you support podcasts?

Yes, we have a growing catalog of podcasts across various genres.

Can I play music while using other apps?

Yes, background playback is fully supported.

How do I remove a song from a playlist?

Open the playlist, tap the three dots next to the song, and select 'Remove from Playlist'.

Can I rearrange songs in my playlist?

Currently, this feature isn't available, but we plan to add it in a future update.

Why isn't a particular song available?

Some songs may be restricted due to licensing agreements in your region.

Do I need an account to use the app?

Yes, an account is required to save preferences and sync across devices.

Can I customize the equalizer?

Yes, go to Settings > Audio > Equalizer to customize your sound preferences.

Do you offer student discounts?

No, we don't offer student discouunt, right now.

Why is my music buffering?

Check your internet connection or clear the phone cache.

Can I schedule music to start or stop at a specific time?

Currently, we do not support scheduled playback, but a sleep timer is available.

How do I search by lyrics?

Enter part of the lyrics in the search bar and we'll match relevant songs.

Do you have curated playlists?

Yes, we offer curated playlists for moods, genres, and trends.

Can I control playback from my smartwatch?

Yes, our app is compatible with most smartwatch platforms.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

You will retain access until the end of the billing cycle, after which you'll be downgraded to the free plan.

How is my data protected?

We use industry-standard encryption and do not sell your data to third parties.

Can I make collaborative playlists?

Do you have live radio stations?

Can I follow artists?

How do I clear my search history?

Long press on any search keyword in your recent searches to delete it.

Can I use the app on Android Auto or Apple CarPlay?

Yes, we support both platforms for safe in-car music control.

How can I request a song or artist?

Send song suggestions via Feedback by taping profile photo on the home screen.

How are recommended songs generated?

Recommendations are based on your listening history and user behavior.

Can I rename a playlist?

Yes, open the playlist and tap the edit icon to rename it.

What is ‘Recently History'?

It shows a chronological list of songs, podcasts, and videos you've listened to.

Do you support smooth song transition playback?

Yes, you can enable smooth song transition in settings.

Is streaming data-heavy, and how much data does a song or video use?

Streaming isn't too data-heavy for music — a typical song uses around 3-5 MB. However, high-quality videos can consume much more. For example, a 1440p video may use around 1.5 GB to 2.25 GB per hour.

Why did my listening history disappear?

Listening history is automatically cleared after 60 days to help reduce server storage and keep Zene free for everyone.

Do you offer soundtracks and instrumentals?

Yes, you can find a variety of instrumental and OST tracks in our catalog.

How do I recover a deleted playlist?

Currently, once a playlist is deleted, it cannot be recovered. We recommend backing up important playlists by exporting or saving their details.

Does the app support background playback?

Yes, you can listen to music while using other apps or when your device is locked.

How do I clear the app cache on Android and iOS?

On Android, go to Settings > Apps > Zene > Storage > Clear Cache. On iOS, you may need to reinstall the app to clear cache.

How do I link my account across devices?

Simply log in with the same login option on all devices to sync your library and playlists.

Can I share songs or playlists with friends?

Yes, use the share button on any song or playlist to send a link via social media, messaging apps, or email.

Why is the app not playing music when my phone is locked?

Make sure Background App Refresh and permissions are enabled, and check your device's battery optimization settings.

Can I use voice commands to control playback?

Yes, Zene supports popular voice assistants like Google Assistant, Alexa and Siri for hands-free control.

Why is my app crashing or freezing?

Try restarting your device, updating the app to the latest version, or reinstalling it if issues persist.

Can I use Zene on my smart speaker or smart TV?

Yes, Zene supports casting to compatible devices via Chromecast, AirPlay, and other protocols.

Why can't I find some songs or albums?

Music availability depends on licensing agreements and regional restrictions.

How do I update my profile information?

Right now, nothing. But we're working on adding gesture-based features. Stay tuned!

Does Zene work with slow internet?

Yes! Switch to 'Data Saver' mode in settings for faster buffering and reduced usage.

How do I make my playlists aesthetic?

You can customize your playlist name, emoji, and cover art. Just tap 'Edit' inside your playlist.

Can I use Zene to study or focus?

Yes! Check out our curated 'Focus', 'Lo-Fi', and 'Instrumental' sections for distraction-free playlists.

Is there an Easter egg in the app?

Why is Zene called Zene?

'Zene' means 'music' in Hungarian. It's simple, global, and all about sound. 🎵

Can I use Zene without an account?

No, you can only listen to songs and videos without an account on Zene Web. For full access and features, please sign in.

Can I follow other users and see what they listen to?

Social features are in development! Soon you'll be able to follow friends and discover music together.

Can I sync lyrics across devices?

Yes, your synced lyrics and playback position follow your account across all your logged-in devices.

What's the difference between Zene's audio and video mode?

In audio mode, you just hear the song. In video mode, we stream the music video too—perfect for visuals!

Can I use Zene while gaming or during workouts?

Absolutely. Zene works in the background while you game, run, or even lift. Try our 'Workout Mixes'!
