Zene curates and presents music-related content by integrating with authorized third-party services. We do not claim ownership of any music, videos, lyrics, or other media ("Content") provided through these integrations — all Content remains the property of the original creators and the respective content providers.
We integrate with the official developer APIs and platforms from the following providers:

To avoid legal or platform issues and to respect creators and content providers, Zene follows the required policies and best practices from each provider, including but not limited to:
- Provider API Terms & Developer Policies — we access content primarily through providers APIs. We always respect endpoint usage, rate limits, and authentication requirements.
- Privacy & data protection — we handle user data in line with applicable privacy laws and the privacy policies of the services we integrate with; where required, we obtain user consent before accessing or sharing personal data.
- Copyright & licensing — we do not claim ownership of third-party Content and we respect copyright, licensing, and takedown frameworks (e.g., DMCA where applicable).
- Display & branding — where a provider requires specific display methods (official players, attribution, branding), we comply with those requirements.
- No unauthorized storage or redistribution — we do not store, cache or redistribute third-party streams, media files, or lyrics beyond what is permitted by the provider's API terms; any temporary caching is limited and allowed only when necessary.
- App store & platform compliance — for distribution through app stores (for example Apple's App Store), we adhere to platform review guidelines and legal requirements related to intellectual property.
Playback for services such as YouTube or Spotify may rely on each provider's official player, SDK, or widgets as required by their terms.
