about Zene

You just wanted
to press play.

A song for the commute. A podcast while you cook. A video when you can't sleep. Somewhere along the way, entertainment became plans, limits, logins and app-switching.

We think it should feel simpler than that.

Person listening to music through headphones
08:12
the commute one song on repeat
14:06
need to focus something familiar
23:48
still awake one more video
FOR THE WORLD made for the moments between everything else

You remember the thing you love.
Not where it lives.

Your taste isn't neatly separated into “music time”, “podcast time” and “video time”. It follows you through the day. Your apps just never got the memo.

01

“That song is on the other app.”

02

“This feature needs a different plan.”

03

“Where did I save that podcast?”

OUR QUESTION If your taste is one thing,
why isn't your entertainment?

03 / WHY ZENE EXISTS

We didn't start with
“let's build an app.”

We started with a much more ordinary thought: why does enjoying something require this much managing?

One service for the song. Another for the video. Another place for the podcast. A free tier that feels like a demo. A paid tier that decides what you're allowed to touch.

Zene became our answer: one place you can come back to for the things you listen to, watch, follow and discover — without making “upgrade” the main character.

Entertainment should fit into your life.
Your life shouldn't have to fit around entertainment apps.

04 / ONE HOME

Your day doesn't happen in tabs.

Zene is built around what you want in the moment, not which media category it belongs to.

08:15

Start moving.

That track that makes a normal commute feel slightly less normal.

Radio when you don't want to search. Just put something on and keep going.

Fall into a rabbit hole.

A video, a story, a headline — because curiosity doesn't respect app categories.

05 / THE DEAL

What we want Zene
to feel like.

Not a manifesto you have to memorize. Just a few promises you should be able to notice while using it.

01

Play first.

Free should feel usable, not like a countdown to a payment screen.

FREE ≠ TRIAL
02

Your taste is personal.

We want personalization to make Zene better for you — not turn you into a profile to sell.

YOURS MEANS YOURS
03

Premium should feel like extra.

An ad-free Zene experience and added conveniences — not permission to press play.

04

One home, not one format.

Music, podcasts, radio, video, news and the things we haven't built yet can still belong together.

KEEP EXPLORING
06 / MORE THAN CONTENT

A song is rarely
just a song.

It's the one your friend sent at exactly the right time. The track that takes you back to a place. The podcast you keep recommending. The thing you want someone else to understand without writing a paragraph.

That's why Zene isn't only about consuming entertainment. Features like Circle are about giving what you love a little human context again.

07 / STILL BECOMING ZENE

We're building this
in the open.

Zene is being built for listeners everywhere. We don't want to pretend every idea lands perfectly on the first try.

We'll ship things. Learn. Fix what feels wrong. Keep what people love. And keep asking the same question:

does this make entertainment feel better?
