Subscription Terms

Purchase disclosures, renewal, entitlement, family membership, and cancellation of Zene paid plans.

1. The offer shown before purchase

The purchase screen identifies the plan, included features, price and currency, billing period, applicable taxes, renewal conditions, and any trial or introductory offer. Read those disclosures before confirming. A plan name alone is not a promise of a fixed catalogue or access to every feature on every platform.

Premium can change the availability of Zene advertisements and feature limits as stated in the offer. It does not transfer rights to recordings or lyrics, grant another provider’s subscription, or guarantee removal of advertisements embedded by independent broadcasters, podcasts, or content services.

2. Billing provider and access

Supported Android purchases are handled through Google Play, and supported iOS purchases through Apple’s App Store. The receipt identifies the transaction provider and store account. The current Desktop application does not provide native purchasing or restoration. Access recognised on another platform depends on the supported Zene account and entitlement flow; it does not move the billing agreement between stores.

The store processes the payment method; Zene validates purchase information to recognise the entitlement. A purchase may need to finish verification before features appear. If charged without receiving access, keep the receipt and contact support, avoiding disclosure of a complete payment-card number. Use restoration only where offered and with the appropriate store and Zene accounts.

3. Automatic renewal and trials

A recurring plan renews at the period and price disclosed by the store unless cancelled under that store’s rules. A trial or introductory period can convert to a paid recurring subscription on the terms shown before confirmation. Eligibility, duration, renewal price, and cancellation timing must be displayed for the specific offer rather than inferred from this general document.

Cancel sufficiently before the renewal deadline shown by the store. Where a store requires cancellation at least twenty-four hours before a trial ends, that requirement applies. Confirm that the store shows cancellation or an expiry date and retain the confirmation. Removing an app, signing out, or changing a payment card is not a reliable way to cancel.

4. Family plans and invitations

Where offered, a Family plan supports the paying member and up to five additional members under the eligibility and capacity rules shown in the service. An invitation gives access only when successfully accepted and while the group and entitlement remain eligible. Each member remains responsible for their own account and applicable age requirements.

If the payer cancels, entitlement expires, or a member leaves or is removed, family benefits may end in accordance with the current entitlement. Removing a member does not cancel that person’s independently purchased subscription. A group owner’s purchase is not legal consent on behalf of a child and does not grant permission to view another member’s private information.

5. Promotions, prices, and service changes

Coupons and promotional offers are subject to the conditions disclosed when issued, including eligibility, expiry, redemption limits, and compatibility with the relevant store or plan. They are not cash or a transferable payment instrument unless the offer expressly provides otherwise. A failed redemption does not establish that a paid purchase was made.

Price changes apply through the required store notice and consent process. Material reductions to a paid service remain subject to applicable cancellation, refund, and conformity rights. These Terms do not authorise retrospective price increases or continued billing after an effective cancellation.

6. Cancellation, deletion, and help

Cancel renewal in the store where the subscription was purchased. Access generally continues to the end of a paid period unless the store applies a refund, revocation, or different lawful outcome. Trial cancellation can have different access consequences under the trial terms.

Deleting a Zene account and cancelling store billing are separate actions. Before deleting, review active subscriptions and cancel any renewal you no longer want. A privacy-deletion request is not conditional on remaining subscribed, and a store dispute does not remove the right to request account deletion.
