Acceptable Use Policy
Restrictions on abusive access, interference, data harvesting, and misuse of Zene services.
1. Scope of permitted access
This policy applies to the website, applications, service endpoints, account tools, imports, and enabled sharing features. Access is limited to the permissions Zene and the relevant provider actually grant. Public visibility of a page is not permission to access private records, privileged endpoints, or other users’ accounts.
Use ordinary controls for the purpose for which they are offered. An account, invitation, or paid entitlement must not be sold, shared, or manipulated to evade eligibility and capacity rules. A user must not represent a third-party automation or client as an official Zene service without permission.
2. Interference, circumvention, and harvesting
Do not overload infrastructure, bypass rate limits, rotate identities to evade restrictions, distribute malicious code, probe accounts without authorisation, or attempt to obtain credentials or confidential service information. Do not manipulate purchase verification, ads, play counts, referrals, promotional eligibility, or subscription status through fraudulent requests.
Do not collect personal information from Zene for unsolicited marketing, stalking, profiling, or surveillance. Do not systematically extract media, stream addresses, artwork, or catalogue content in breach of applicable rights, terms, or technical restrictions. Zene’s own obligations toward its sources are independent of these restrictions on users.
This policy does not override statutory rights to interoperability, lawful research, accessibility, consumer remedies, or permitted use of separately licensed software. If a legitimate integration needs access beyond the offered product controls, seek permission before operating it; silence is not permission.
3. Security reports and consequences
Report a suspected security issue privately to work@zenemusic.co with a description and a minimal, non-destructive example. Avoid accessing or retaining another person’s information, disrupting the service, or disclosing credentials in the report. This contact route is not a general authorisation to test systems or a promise of payment.
Zene may restrict abusive access, investigate, preserve necessary evidence where lawful, and seek appropriate remedies. Any response remains subject to applicable law and the Terms of Service. Submitting a good-faith report is not itself misconduct, and reports should not be used to retaliate against users who exercise lawful rights.
